Tianne’s computer is ridiculously slow, and Dieter’s tried to fix it multiple times. God know why he’s trying to fix it, but still. I have described how he explained it away previously, but he’s come up with more reasons. So let’s recap. Her computer is slow and freezing because:

a) She has too many files spread out all over her hard drive.

b) She has too many sent emails in her sent box. She needs to organise her sent emails into folders in outlook and that will fix it.

c) She hasn’t cleared her internet browsing history or her temporary internet files. If she clears those that will fix it.

d) She has too many files on her desktop not in folders. Also, she has too many folders on her desktop. If she put the files into folders then “once the folder is closed the file isn’t being accessed”, which will speed it up.

I have tried to explain time and again that those things have nothing to do with it, but he doesn’t listen. Yesterday she plugged a usb drive in and the computer froze. I told Ben, who said it was a hardware issue, but when Tianne complained about it yesterday Dieter told her to “not fight it, just accept that this will happen”.

I said just now that it was a hardware issue and Dieter’s reply was “I guess that could be something to do with it”. No. It’s not part of the problem. It is The Problem. Get a fucking IT person in to look at the computers, for christ’s sake.
